TDS Statements to be emailed to individuals by IT department

The Income Tax Department (ITD) would email the tax credit statements to individual assesses detailing the income earned by them from various sources and the tax deducted thereon by the entities giving them such income. This is aimed at reducing discrepancies arising out of the TDS claimed and the information received by the ITD.
